• Alright more secrets of jordia is revealed, val once against has to survive countless attempts at his life while trying to keep his loved ones safe, more tragedies of war are shown in this book quite well, lots of character development between val and his loved ones and the kid gloves are off folks! Be warned once you get to the middle it's a roller coaster you won't want to get off and will want more by the end please go bug the author to write book 6! P

• Another fine addition to his series. With characters that have developed and changed so much due to circumstance, everything keeps feeling fresh. Only complaint I could have is the pace is almost TOO blistering. Can't wait for the next one.
• I love this series and this books is an excellent addition. The Magic/Science/Physics or whatever you want to call it, require a healthy amount of suspension of disbelief, but if you can just roll with it (and by book 5 you really should be used to it), there is a magnificent amount of fun to be had. Great characters, badass scenes and explosions galore.
• All the other characters could cease to exist and the MC would still do whatever he is doing. Or rather, the MC does all the heavy lifting himself and everyone else is about as useful as a third leg. Though there seems to be a juxtaposotion between overpowered mc moments and underpowered moments.
  
  Lots of side quests, sort of necessary. Good diction, well thought out game mechanics, aside from basically random/goku-esque super boosts mc gets to his spells.
• What a rollercoaster, the fast paced action left you wondering just how the hell val was going to get out of this one,from one page to the next. Bring on the next one!
• This series just keeps getting better and better. The biggest disappointment is the time we have to wait for the next book!
  This one moves the story along and continues to develop the overall wprld setting.
  
  Come on book 6!
• Another good story that carries you along just as fast as you can turn the pages . I enjoyed it and will continue to buy this series as fast as they come out .

• I was a little skeptical that this book would really help me "bring home the bacon" but it did. The introduction set the mind set and questions to be addressed and the reasonable and logical steps to ingratiating one's self were realistic. I can actually apply what was recommended. Am most appreciative to the author for understanding the problems of selling an idea to a sometimes disinterested or hostile audience.
• BRING HOME THE BACON by Larry Tracy teaches you to deliver highly successful presentations in the same fashion he used while Senior Intelligence Briefer to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during the Cold War. His platform chops are so sharp that President Ronald Reagan once called him “an extraordinarily effective speaker.”

• What do you fear most? Many people would answer, “speaking in public.” But, it’s possible to improve your speaking skills. Author Larry Tracy, a retired Army Colonel and now a top speech coach has written a concise, yet thorough guide to effective public speaking.
  
  He begins by explaining that most of us are much more familiar with writing, than speaking. So, we must learn to be good speakers, by preparing, planning, practicing, and presenting. We then must learn how to speak with credibility, clarity and conviction. Then, we must aim to be eloquent. Speaking today is actually done using a conversation style. Some important takeaways research your audience, begin your speech with your ending, practice before a group, and be prepared for the Q and A session.
  
  This is a good overview of public speaking. More examples would have helped, but I can recommend this book as a useful tool to have. Thanks to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for a review copy.

• Although “Christian fiction” is not something I have read often I found The Pages of Her Life by James Rubart to be a fascinating read which takes a brother and sister on a journey of self-discovery. As a person that has journaled at different points in my life it was strange to think about some of the words written in my journal being changed. The book is engaging and for me was difficult to put down.
• I believe this is my fifth novel i have read by this author. He never disappoints. This is a remarkable story where he brilliantly captures a woman's struggle with family, career, decision and friendship. How he manages to get into the mind of this protagonist is the sign of a great writer. The story moves along quickly and has a wonderful denouement. Another satisfactory Rubart read!
• The Pages of Her Life by James Rubart is such a page-turner that you won't realize how long you've been reading. Engaging and filled with characters that I want to sit down and have a cup of tea and conversation with. This author never fails to tell a fascinating story, and this one has rocketed to the top of his books for me. Each journal entry teaches Allison something new about herself. Do yourself a favor and get a copy of this book. It really makes you think about how you view yourself and the world around you. Love it.
